Our Preferred Flooring team can assist with moving some furniture pieces within reason. Additional charges may apply to areas with excessive or heavy furniture or any furniture that requires disassembly. We do not move heavy appliances, antiques, grandfather clocks, aquariums, pool tables, waterbeds, safes, gym equipment, or baby grand/grand pianos (most of these items need to be professionally moved). No, we do not handle the disconnection or reconnection of water, electrical, or gas lines. We recommend hiring a certified plumber, electrician, or contractor to manage these tasks before our installation team arrives.

Our team will do their best to fix any floor squeaks they encounter during installation. However, we cannot guarantee that all squeaks will be eliminated, nor can we be held responsible for any future squeaks.

If your new flooring is thicker than your old flooring, your doors may need to be trimmed for proper clearance. You can arrange for the doors to be left off their hinges so you or a hired carpenter can trim them to fit.
