Tore out carpet in the living room and added 2 1/4 Red Oak weaved in with existing hardwoods downstairs with the rest of the 1st floor. We wired brushed the floor instead of a straight sand to give the floor texture. Used a custom blended stain color to match a Mirage Hardwood sample from our showroom that the customer wanted her floor to look like. Used Bona Traffic HD waterbase finish. Wire brushed 2 sets of stairs to match the wire brushed 1st floor and added cove molding to the steps for added decoration and finishing.
